The starting point
Maison Astral came to us as an idea without a single asset - a dark luxury jewellery house that needed to exist, credibly, in weeks rather than quarters. No logo, no typography, no site, no product presentation. The brief was to build the brand from zero and put it in production fast enough to start selling the vision while it was still fresh.
What we built
- A full brand identity - the mark, the palette and the rules for using them, designed around the dark, editorial mood the jewellery deserves.
- Editorial typography - a type system that reads like a printed lookbook rather than a template shop.
- A fast, editorial single-page site - one continuous page that presents the maison the way a magazine spread would, engineered to load fast and stay still while it does.
- Motion design - restrained, purposeful movement that carries the eye without getting in its way.
After launch the site grew with the business: we loaded and published the full product catalog - 97 pieces - and gave every route its own canonical URL so search engines index the catalog cleanly instead of guessing at duplicates.
The outcome
The complete brand system - identity, typography, site and motion - went from first concept to live production in 21 days. It is live today at maisonastral.world.
Every number in this journal is real. 21 days is the actual concept-to-production time for this project - the same figure we publish on our portfolio cards.
